Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate, as well as a TV presenter for MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show to launch their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest starred in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News), and CNN (CNBC). As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experience as a newly-wed mom during the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan as she was working there. She was able to observe how the election affected those in that country, and thus she was able to appreciate the worldwide impact US politics has on everyone around the globe. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She was co-host of the MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. In May 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action committee that works on behalf of Democratic causes.
