Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has won a number prizes which include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award), two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main ensemble in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). In the next year, O'Hara and Candy began working in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned praise from critics for her performance as a comedic actor and writer, winning an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for the Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
